Watkins Brush Man–Bill Porter *****

Steve Loera posted this wonderful story of becoming a beloved member of the community when all strikes were against him. He is from my generation–born in the 1930s during the Great Depression. Thanks for sharing Steve. We all need to hear this story of massive determination, with always kind words and personal integrity.

  1. This man’s perseverance is inspiring. He never gave up on himself and became successful. He never let his disability bring him down and we can learn so much from this. We should all learn from this hard working man.

  2. This is really a touching story. To be at such a disadvantage and still strive to be successful is something that we can all learn from. Persistence can take you a long way in the world as long as you have the determination.
